MOVIE MARATHON, XMAS BBQ PARTY

MOVIE MOVIE MOVIE!!! hahaha packed up my stuff which i would be bringing to camp this tues... n for brunei trip too... then went to watch curse of the golden flower at ps with jay n heman... right after that we rushed over to the other side to watch death note 2!!! hahaha really just nice the timing... only got 1 commercial then start liao... =X hahaha but death note 2 was a really nice show... n curse of the golden flower was more of an artistic n political show... lol then had a drink n some fries at carls jr then dad came over to fetch me to bh's hse... too bad the car no space liao so sc couldnt take a lift... :P yep so had bbq at bh's place, played my psp n won the boss that my bro couldnt win... hehe the gals were having a go at it thou they were kinda noob... =X ok la for a newbie n a gal... haha women drivers cant make it one... LAST MINUTE XMAS SHOPPING, CHARLOTTE'S WEB

ARGH!!! got my posting today... posted to enginners 1st then later on i saw my name on the signals side... in the end it was a cock up on alpha's part and i was in signals... at first i was devastated i didnt get infantry... cos i was so liking alpha and safti... almost like a home to me... already settling in le... have a "family" relationship with everyone... n ive been mentally preparing myself for infantry life, cheong sua till i get posted as a BMTC PC!!! tekong with 1 black bar is GOD! hahaha =X yeah so got into signals... seems slack... 26th book into signals institute then 27th 1/2 day off till 1st jan! hahaha den go brunei for some shit till 11th jan... cool huh... yep n we r going taiwan in march... dunno if mekko will still be there to be my tourguide as promised... lol but its ok... i'm sure taiwan is a fun place... hahaha lots n lots of food, shopping, booze n sex! LOL

KNS... f-ing tired, sleepy etc... just finished another field camp... this time they combined both attack and defence together... so mon we went for attack which was quite simple... den they stunned us by bringing us back to shower n slp in bunk! wtf rite? haha but lights out at 2200 then TURNOUT at 2300... :S sianz... then marched to rambutan hill and slp for the night... -_- next day start of defence field camp and dig our graves... =X yeah so actually i dug finished my shellscrape damn fast then almost finished my firetrench... but cos my buddy n i were slacking too, much cos we were the fastest, we got re-tasked to dig the GPMG trench... FUCKING HELL! now that was a killer! n every friggin day it RAINED!!! every day have to scoop up water with helmet, waist high in mud water... made a man made river, pond, quicksand pit etc cos of all that drained out water... dig till going mad liaoz... now i can understand how a bangala worker feels like... only thing that they probably have more experiance digging so its easier for them... hahaha but in the end we dug up the trench which was AMAZING! i hope i get the pics from my pc... cos its really a memorable pic to me... but seriously during that moment of time my morale was at the lowest in my entire life... but i still managed to pull through... in the end we made a lazy river and a jacuzi... LOL yeah took alot of effort to cover the damn thing up again too... haha i just remade the terrain sia... from a nice slope to become a swamp pit! LOL yeah feet rotting n hurting like hell... mud all over my face, hands, ass, no. 4 was not green anymore, boots filled with mud water, work thru the night, shivering like crazy in the wee hours in the morning... well anyways its over le... just take it as a mud spa session WAHAHAHA! only got a few more weeks to go! hahaha den pro term lo... 6 more months to commissioning parade... :S

HAHA my barker rd class gathering... went to have lunch then played some lan... then went to swensons to have ice cream... haha sounds like a boring day but we talked lotsa shit... like the filling of the wall partition with paper balls, textbooks, door handles... smashing the wall partition with our fists, playing cards in front of the chinese teacher, playing soccer behind the class and breaking lotsa window panels in the process, playacting jedi lightsaber battles, taking the fire extinguisher and sprayed the whole cubicle in yellow powder, stealing a sleeping bangala's chainsaw, jumping outta the class thru the window, bringing down the projector screen on the last day of skool, trying out WWE moves on each other... the list goes on... such memories n the little stuff we do in an all boys skool... hahaha

went to jowin's bday at hougang... ate veg food cos hes a veggie... haha onli daniel and jeff were there... so sad... but still was fun... then went back to ps and met up with ting ann and played some pool... haha think im not that rusty le... won all the way till the last game den lost... =X then had mac for supper then shared a cab home...

woke up late today... with a flu... feel like crap now... lack of sleep for sure... didnt went out with the gang today cos somehow everyone is busy, sq still got exams till 1st dec n sc is down with depression or something... n im also on the verge of going broke... =X haiz... ocs is really killing my social life... seriously i can just count with two hands the number of people i actually keep in contact with... haiz... life still goes on...

WAHAHAHA!!! i got my psp today!!! yeah!!! so i went to sim lim to buy me some games... pro evo soccer 5!!! woohoo!!! but before tt i went to bai bai again... just to say thanks for keeping me safe n sound... n also asked if my life can be a little less emotionally-draining... or why it is like such... maybe now i may bnot understand it but in time i will i guess... why cant it just be nice n simple n not something so rollercoaster-ish as i think ive been thru... haiz... oh well then bought a 2gb mem stick... kns... spend alot le sia... haha then bought a speaker for my ipod... then went to watch 007 with jz, nel, jay n hr!!! hahaha damn little action scenes la... sianz... but hr amazingly could join us cos his gf havin exams... :P hahaha yeah well at least the bond girl was quite chio... lol

PATROL FIELD CAMP

HAIZ... seems like this has been one hellova week... yeah n now that esther's attached le, i can finally put the matter behind me. at first upon hearing the news i felt kinda disappointed and abit of regret... not heartbroken prolly cos i was already letting go or in the process of letting go... yeah but still i should have tried my luck... haha oh wells at least my horoscope is quite accurate lol yeah so then we had a navigation exercise at marsiling... right behind esthers house... yeah bad timing huh... but i tried to do gab's test on being damn shagged then thinking of the things u want the most... haha i'll come to that later

so the navigation exercise was damn easy la... maybe cos our group had the better of the navigators... just that we were 1 man short... rest had 5 we onli had 4... so the weight of the signal set and law tube had to be shared most of the time... haha but still we were the 2nd team to arrive for both day and night navi! lol

patrol field camp was killer... 2 days going without sleep and continuous missions... crazy... i mastered sleepwalking, going into lala land while presenting the mission briefing, skipped dinner, night snack, breakfast and lunch... survived on just a pack of dog biscuits and an energy bar... mastered wide-eyed sleeping right in front of my sir who was talking to me the whole time i was sleeping :X hahaha but i still managed to execute my 3rd and last mission quite well... being the ic is not easy sia... oh wells

soc test i FAILED!!! :( SOB SOB i reached the wall at 3:30... last of my detail, but cleared everything in 1 try... then left the obstacles at 6:30... kns i had a chance of passing lor... just that my breakfast was on the verge of coming out... so i walked quite abit... clocked 10:43... SIANZ!!! hahaha 9:29 den pass... haiz... but its a great improvement since BMT of 11:53 wor... cut by 1:10 sia! hahaha guess im getting fitter afterall :)

yeah back to the gab's test... being in an "esther-bias" environment cos i can see her house from most of the knolls i hiked up, (yeah n i think im gonna take up hiking as a hobby sia... lol) the only things i thought about was my family, bunk, home, psp and who next i should bring to my social night... asked sc le but she didnt gimme a confirmed ans... need a confirmed one cos its compulsory to bring a date... :S

hahaha yeah so i guess im 3 times unlucky le... haiz and ive been through both rejection and regret lol... both has its pros and cons la and its not like what many people think that rejection is better than regret. it actually depends on the situation... i dunno la but i just feel that way. oh well... shopping and movies anyone? lol 007!!! this whole week has been damn hectic for me cos i got the post of armskote 3ic... sianz... not much time for myself anymore... haiz... n in another 5 more weeks i gotta find a date for social night... compulsory somemore... kns... today woke up at 830... kns... screwed up body clock... hahaha packed my bag for bookin later... ironed 2 sets of smartest 4 for the parade and parade rehearsal... went for a massage... den went out for lunch at ps with myloh... canceled the lunch appointment with esther cos she was bust doing her assignments... next time den she'll bring me to the thai food she so craves... lol anyways had pizza for lunch den went to comics connection to buy another figurine... this time its SASUKE!!! OMGOMGOMG! hahaha my fav character! hahaha den sc came along... hahaha her face seemed kinda black when she saw myloh there... hahaha abit of a misunderstanding when she asked come along or tag along... lol psps... den went to have andersons ice cream! woohoo! hahaha safra card members have 10% off somemore! lol den went to watch crank... wtf man... crazy show... gore and vulgarities to the max man... n i kinda think the gals who watched the show were dragged into it just like sc... =X hahaha "spoil my good gal image u noe~" wahahaha den myloh left and i went to bugis to bai bai... somehow nobody believes im a taoist wor... everyone thinks im christian... lol well at one point i almost did... but nvm yeah so sc oso tagged along to see see... lol had to bai bai cos i feel really nervous about the live shooting... i'll explain when i finish it this week... :S its just scary to noe that theres ppl shooting live bullets behind ur back while ur advancing forward... yeah so i had to go bai bai to calm my nerves down alittle... n im not last min go bai bai cos got things or wat... n i went on my own accord too... hahaha yeah den went n shop awhile before heading back home... bookin soon... sianz... tmr shooting matador somemore... scary shit... :S everyone pls pray for my safety... =X

BACK FROM TEKONG!!!

ARGH!!! so depressing to have your weekend burnt in tekong on sat for 4D3N... SIAN BO!!! hahaha yeah n the first thing i see is my sergeants all there at SFT... think they r on duty for the parents visit day... lol yeah so we marched to permatang and camped in the worst campsite possible... HONEST! my sleeping ground was on a slope and filled with rocks, stones, roots etc... kns... den went for a navigation exercise with our instructor... man... carrying the signal set and bashing thru the jungle was killer... :S especially wayne's checkpoint... i'll never forget that one... we went up and down the old sispec den cut thru BIC grounds... hahaha n its fenced up with barbed wires so we had to scud around it la... hahaha den nite navi was BAD! just walk w/o knowing where my legs end up... hahaha bashing was even harder... :S sianz... but still managed to sleep well somehow... the stones etc didnt really bother me cos i was too shagged to feel them... wahahaha

2nd day was all about FCO and the drills... damned alpha again... now must lepoard crawl from bound to bound... walao eh! with the friggin LAW tube AGAIN! kns... i thought i'll never see it again after sit test but wtf... here i am carryin it again... :S hahaha den nite time i got to be 2ic for the night ambush with the trip flare! wheee! i got to pull the trip flare too! hahaha really nice just like fireworks... haha

3rd day we learnt flanking in the morning... n it was the first time i bashed thru a mangrove sia! hahaha n go thru the low tide somemore... thank god i had goretex boots... haha n 1st time i ever lepoard crawl upslope with a LAW in some thick undergrowth... haha it was killer... den later we had another navigation exercise this time on our own... so at first we went "holland" aka LOST for 1hr + den i took charge and led the way... we managed to make up lost time and ended up finishing 2nd overall! haha woohoo! i must say that i have good navigational skills... oh n did i ever mentioned when i was in jakarta at the age of 4, i directed my way home from kindergarden... haha yeah no kidding n we walked from west to east of tekong man... from permatang to oil palms and back to permatang... kns... damn shagged that day man...

4th day we practiced whatever drills we learnt so far... den rushed to change into fresh clothes cos u cant wear muddy ones to the ferry... haha luckily it didnt rain a single drop while we were in tekong... :P and thank god the instructors didnt give us a turn out... not much tekan oso... i just wonder why always during outfield, our movement is soooo sluggish... den when we were at the ferry terminal, we were like flying to the toilet and changing n stuff... and must always appreciate the fact that fresh rations ALWAYS beats combat rations... whatever they serve... i probably eatened the worst cookies and muffins outfield and yet it still tastes the best at that moment of time... WAHAHAHA

hectic week so far... had demolition lessons and a demo test on fri and just now had a map reading re-test... the whole wing failed la... passing mark is 85%... wtf rite... hope i fared well... :S haha later goin drinking session cos this week mental and physical stress... :P great excuse huh... wahahaha tmr goin for a massage cos i really need it man... luckily this week keep on raining so all the SOC lessons CANCELED! hahaha but still had ET run 8km... :S shagged sia...

went to clementi n met up with sc to go 7-11 go buy drinks... round 2 for me thou... hehe had 2 glasses of wine during dinner... :P yeah then took a ride in bh's car to west coast park n just hang around... literally... lol cos we played that swing thingy n i got stuck in the middle... lol yeah but while jumping off i think my finger got caught in the chain n now its like swollen... :S sianz... n its my middle finger somemore... must be god's way of punishing me for pointing the middle finger too much le... Plenty of time to analyze it all later -- like this weekend, when you'll be given choices and the opportunity to point your love life in a lovely direction. SIGH... just when i forced myself to think its over, now theres a glimmer of hope... should i go for it and either have a happy-ever-after ending or prolly end up getting hurt and experience the same kinda feeling when i forced myself to think its over... people say no pain no gain but this is one pain i never ever wanna experience again. but then again should i just sit back and dont go for it? let this one pass right by without even trying? its either go or dont go... how? n i have no idea why im blogging so early in the morning in camp... maybe cos ive been attacked by mozzies all night, cant sleep on my own bed, booking out in like less than 3 hrs and the fact that my mind starts to play mind games on myself... haiz... :S

SATURDAY CDS DUTY... FUCKED UP!!!

FUCKED UP!!! SO FUCKED UP!!! hahaha but here i am blogging in camp AGAIN! O_O yeah so theres 2 ppl on duty la its the cdo and cds tts me... so we r taking 2 hrs shift by left... =X yeah so anyways its kinda slack on weekends la... nobody here to fuck us around... just told to decorate the duty room... hahaha which was done in like 1hr plus... bad part is having my 1/2 a sat burnt... n having to stay in smart 4 all day long till tmr 8am... den BOOKOUT! den bookin at 2100... SIANZ!!! __ hahaha but its ok la... tmr got plans for lunch meeting ma... den next week got fri till tue off provided i dun tio extra for no fucking lame reason... haha =X yeah well suck thumb la... anyways its been a great week for me la... all until now but im keeping my spirits high la... bo pian one... lan lan suck thumb n do lor... yeah so i guess i thought i solved a problem le... but now i think it resurfaced... nvm la just play by ear ba hor? hahaha tts my way of doing things when i dun have a plan in mind... :P okies time for a power nap! hahaha catch up on long lost sleep... life as a cadet is always sleepy always tired and always busy doing something... almost learnt the art of open eyed sleeping for damn long... now can onli last for like 30 odd secs... =X hahaha k la power nap time! or like wad "mom" likes to call it "beauty sleep" :P
